1. Program description
The MaxRep Authentication and Security Messaging Program sends transactional text messages to the mobile number you provide. Messages may include a one-time password (“OTP”), account-verification code, sign-in or recovery message, security alert, or confirmation related to a request you made.
The program does not include marketing text messages. If MaxRep later offers promotional texts, they will require a separate, optional opt-in and separate disclosures.
2. How you opt in
You opt in when you enter your mobile number in MaxRep and affirmatively select a button such as “Send code,” “Text me a code,” or another clearly labeled action after the SMS disclosure is shown. The disclosure identifies MaxRep, explains the message purpose, states that message and data rates may apply, and links to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
Consent is specific to authentication and security texts. It is not consent to receive marketing, and it is not a condition of buying a product or paid subscription. However, if you choose SMS as your authentication method, receiving the requested message may be necessary to complete that sign-in or verification attempt.
Consent is associated with the phone number you provide and the MaxRep account or verification flow that requested it. Do not request a message for a number you do not own or have authorization to use.
3. Message frequency, cost, and sender
Message frequency varies based on the number of verification, recovery, and security actions you request or that are reasonably necessary to protect your account. MaxRep does not charge a fee for these messages, but message and data rates may apply under your wireless plan.
Messages will identify MaxRep as the sender. They may be sent using an automated system. Your wireless carrier, device, or network may store message content according to its own practices.
4. How to opt out
Reply STOP to a MaxRep message to unsubscribe from further text messages to that number. We also honor customary opt-out words such as CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, OPT OUT, or UNSUBSCRIBE when received and recognized by our messaging provider.
We may send one final text confirming your opt-out. After that, we will not send further MaxRep SMS to that number unless you affirmatively opt in again. Opting out may prevent SMS-based sign-in or account recovery; use another available authentication method or contact support.
An opt-out applies to MaxRep’s SMS program for that number. It does not stop non-SMS notices, such as email or in-app messages, or messages from an unrelated sender.
5. Help and support
Reply HELP for help. You can also use in-app support or email hello@maxrep.me. Do not send passwords, verification codes, payment information, or sensitive health information in a support text or ordinary email.
6. Verification-code security
Each code is intended only for the person who requested it and expires after the period stated in the message or verification screen. Never share a code with another person. MaxRep support will not ask you to disclose an active one-time password.
If you receive a code you did not request, do not use or share it. Secure your account and contact support if you suspect unauthorized activity.
7. Your phone number
You represent that the mobile number you provide is accurate and that you are its subscriber or customary user, or otherwise have permission to use it. Tell us promptly and update your account if the number changes, is reassigned, or is no longer under your control. MaxRep is not responsible for messages delivered to a number you failed to update.
8. Consent and messaging records
We may record the phone number, consent language shown, date and time of opt-in, source screen or workflow, messages requested and delivered, delivery status, IP or device information, and opt-out or help requests. We use these records to provide authentication, prevent abuse, resolve delivery problems, honor your preferences, and document compliance.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how MaxRep collects, uses, retains, and discloses personal information. We may share phone-number and message-delivery information with providers that transmit or secure the requested messages, but they may use it only to provide those contracted services.
MaxRep does not sell or share your mobile number, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent records with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
10. No bundled marketing consent
Your request for an OTP does not authorize promotional texts. Marketing consent, if requested in the future, will be optional, unbundled from the authentication action, and accompanied by its own description of message content and frequency. Withdrawing marketing consent will not prevent essential transactional or security communications that you separately request or authorize.
11. Carrier availability and delivery
Participating carriers and delivery availability may change. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery can be affected by coverage, network congestion, blocked short codes or toll-free numbers, device settings, carrier filtering, and inaccurate or unsupported numbers. MaxRep does not guarantee delivery or timing.
12. Changes to these SMS Terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the program, law, or our providers. We will post the new terms and revise the date above. If a change materially expands the messages covered by your consent, we will request new consent where required.
13. Contact
For questions about MaxRep SMS or an account-verification message, reply HELP, use in-app support, or email hello@maxrep.me.
Implementation-ready opt-in copy
The following disclosure should appear immediately beside or below the phone-number field and “Send code” button—not only behind a link:
Example verification message
Example HELP response
Example STOP confirmation
Implementation note: the product should keep evidence of the exact disclosure displayed, affirmative action, phone number, timestamp, and source screen. The button must not be enabled by a preselected consent control. If the message states a code-expiration period, it must match the authentication system.
